Blondie Bird and Friends was launched in 1995. Led by Elroy Blondie Bird Boyd, himself a former member of Dragons Mas Camp, Blondie Bird and Friends has remained competitive, taking several titles, which include:

King of the Bands - 3 Monarchs, 2 First Runners-up
Queen of the Bands - 3 First Runners-up
Junior Queen of the Bands - 3 Monarchs
Junior King of the Bands - 1 Monarch, 1 First Runner-up
Individual of the Band - 1 Monarch, 1 Second Runner-up
Section of the Band - 2 wins, 1 second place

Blondie Bird and Friends has had the distinction of being the first band to officially launch it's Carnival production yearly. The band has been a feature of the lunch period of West Indies One-Day International cricket matches in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005 presenting new costumes and giving visitors and international TV viewers an insight into what Vincy Carnival has to offer come June/July. 

This attention to the marketing of his band has effected in the promotion of Vincy Carnival as a whole. SVGTV is proud to be associated with Blondie Bird and Friends and will continue to support Blondie's effort in contributing to the development of our nation.
